Dr Julian van den Berg is a highly accomplished professional with an impressive background in engineering, information technology, project management, and business. He holds multiple degrees, including a Masters in Project Management and a PhD in Business, and has over 50 professional certifications.
Dr. van den Berg's career began in engineering before transitioning to information technology, where he worked as both an IT programmer and an SAP functional consultant. He has worked for some of the top five consulting firms and large global corporations such as Mercedes-Benz, BHP Billiton, Anglo-American, and Xstrata, to name a few. With over 20 years of experience as a business consultant, he has held senior positions managing programs and global teams. Dr. van den Berg was also the Global Head of Supply Chain Application Management at one of the largest mining companies, where he managed a global team and ensured services to over 100,000 end users.
Dr. van den Berg has extensive experience in managing teams across multiple regions, having served as the Head of Service Delivery for an Australian IT firm, where he managed teams across Australia, New Zealand, and the Nordics. Prior to that, he was the Global Head of Supply Chain Application Management at one of the largest mining companies, where he managed a global team and ensured services to over 100,000 end users.
